I need to study migration of some proteins in Immunological Synapse formed between T cells and B cells. I have Jurkat cells and Raji cells but not having enterotoxin. So please suggest me without using enterotoxin how can I get Immunological Synapse?
Dear Dr Arya, using of enterotoxin would be the simplest way. Another ways would be much more time-consuming or expensive. Ask your colleagues at Ben-Gurion University for this SAG. I have no doubts that this reagent is available near from you.
You can try to use co-culture of T cells and macrophages at the presence of anti-CD3 mAbs. Anti-CD3 will react to Fc-receptors of macrophages and this cell-mAb complexes will react to T cells, inducing their activation. However, I have doubts, that you will see "right" immunological synapses by this way. In addition, macrophage will form the synapse, not B cell.
