I want to create a separation bubble over a flat plate using a contour wall as show in the figure.
I want to create a separation bubble around 0.4 m from the leading edge of plate. My plate length is 1 m. What are the steps to follow. how to start this designing. What are the correlations needed for this.
My test section height is 320 mm.

You can use a construction as wedge. Sudden expansion region causes a separation region.
Thanks. But, I want to fix the separation point and then design acordigly. Sudden expansion can also cause separation at the upper wall also. Which I don't want. It would be helpful if u elaborate a little.
What is contour wall? I guess, if I understand what meaning of it, I can help better.
I want to design the contoured wall profile, Hi, Ht so that separation occurs at the plate near to x=0.4-0.5 m. and there should be no bubble at the upper contoured wall. for a clear understanding see the picture.
That picture is better. I think there are three important values; Hi, Ht and inlet velocity. When you find the most suitable configuration of those values, contour wall creates a transport barrier and separation is transported to the upper face of the plate. So, there would be two flow region after the Ht border. It is my thoughts. I recommend the researching flow transport barriers to better understand what I say.
