I've done some calculation followed up the attach file but i cant find the value of syngas composition like they did.
I think i have some problem on the energy balance ( enthalpy, heat of formation biomass)
I'm using EES for this calculation result.

In this point I would reccoment to fixed it by function of the sum of the smallets squares (value of obtained results which you have on the print screen and expectation results)
In the EES it easy to fixed it by its minimalization of the value of the sum of the smallest squares by adding a coefficients (one pear each syngas chemical components).
The simpler way to do that is model the process. A zero dimensional model is a first aproximation but actually is just that. A more sofisticated modeling probably will be the best option. Take in consideration that the ultimate and the proximate analisys are just a part of the problem. The air flow involved, the temperature and the kind and size of the gasifier have an influence in the syngas composition
