First you choose the thermodynamic model from Aspen Library ( such as RK Model, NRTL Model etc) and then you can find activity coefficient and binary interaction parameter model very easily
thank you sir for the answer . but in which tab or the process i have to use to find the same . either regression or anlysis part i guess !! but for the same even whien i choose the option for estimating parameter no result is shown .
Go to Properties tab, then go to methods, and then go to parameters, then you will have pure component and binary parameters. For example, you can click on the NRTL-1 tab to see if the binary interaction parameters for the mixture you are looking for are available. If they are not available, you can edit the value from regression or literature data. If you don't have any data available to you check on the option "Estimate missing parameters by UNIFAC. For activity coefficients, you have to go to the flow sheet and click on the streams you are looking for. By default you don't find them and you have to go to simulation tab, setup, report options, stream, property sets and then select VLE and VLLE properties to be reported. Then you will find the properties in the stream results after successful simulations.
