Could you please tell me where can I read about it, because I searched widely for this particular method but didn't find clear explanation. If you point me to some article or book source where it is explained I'll be thankful.

I mean do you have to use integral transform (e.g. Fourier) to obtain the frequency domain amplitudes or only the time-history analysis with Ricker wavelets is needed?
