I have the data from the year 2013 to 2018. Also how to put the inflation values in SPSS. Let's say the inflation rate is 10%, should I enter it as 10 or as 0.10 or use Scale down technique.
Both denominations are good. It will not change results significantly however your coefficients will be more presentable if you use % values. You may use CPI instead of inflations which will make more sense with prices. Change in prices will more suitable with inflation.
I will try to calculate this with change in prices as Inflation is the main independent variable of my research. By the verb "change in prices," you mean Percentage deviation between current and previous year?
