I have screened a series of synthetic compounds on cancer cells, and some of them were contaminated. These compounds were diluted in 100% DMSO. With a low volume of the compounds (800-1000 µl), I am unsure how effective it would be to filter them through a 0.22 micron filter. I have confirmed that the contamination did not originate from DMSO; rather, it likely occurred during the synthesis and/or purification process of the compounds.
Is there a method for filtering these compounds or eliminating the contamination without discarding the compound and requiring its re-synthesis?
Thank you!
