Hello. I want to dissolve hydrogen gas into metal alloy. (low melting point alloy or other metals)
1. Dissolve H2 gas into liquid phase metal (just flow H2)
2. Dissolve H2 gas into solid phase metal (pressurized condition)
At this process, which is the better way to dissolve H2 gas effectively and substantially?
And in general, which metal material is a good absorber? (ex. steel, Cu..)
Because it is hard to get H2 storage alloy and deal with it. (It needs above 1,000 degree temperature to be molten and difficult to be changed in a desired shape.)

Generally, if you want to get a higher solubility of H2 in solid or liquid metal, you must applied a higher hydrogen pressure on the solid or liquid metal under a high temperature. The solution process is quick in the liquid metal especially with forced melt convection. Among steel and Cu, Cu is easy to absorb H2 because of the higher diffusion coefficient of H2 in Cu and the unsound oxside film.

Why don't you use atomization spray method of whatever metal you want using H2 jet, and I think you are aware with the precautions of this process with H2. Using this process can give you both dissolving in solid and in liquid by changing the substrate distance and other parameters
