I have tried PBS (pH 7.4), tris-glycine buffer (7.4) and I still can't get a full dissolution of LDL.

Maybe try DMSO or an alcohol (EtOH) to dissolve it in higher concentration then dilute down in PBS. Did you check with the supplier for the lyophyllized material?

Try to dissolve it in some alcohol how Raymond said and if you don't get a full dissolution heat the sample a little bit, or expose it to ultrasounds waves for a few seconds (use an ultrasound cleaning bath).

Most commercial supplies provide an Assay Diluent for reconstitution of the lyophylized material. Vortex vigorously during recostitution until dissolved.
