Currently, I am doing an experiment with Electrochemical Workstation (Metrohm Autolab). I am depositing Graphene Oxide on copper substrate with three electrode system with an electrolyte of GO powder dispersed in DI water.
However, I have done before also but recently GO is not properly deposited on copper film. It will not make bonding with copper and after drying in an oven at 60 degree centigrade it will not stick or not make bonding with the thin film
Can you please guide me what the problem is?

You can prepare a new graphene solution containing at least 0.1M of NaCl. But, if your copper electrode is not clean enough so i don't think at that time you can electrodeposit GO onto your electrode. I am working with GO but I am using gold surface and it does not stick very well. When we dry with nitrogen the rGO left off the gold surface.

I have properly clean the surface. I have tried with HNo3 and also clean with emery paper to remove the oxidized layer from the surface. In both the cases emery paper gave better result. Today I got one good result but reproducibility is not going good.
HNO3 can make an oxide layer on the top of your electrode. Try with acetone and ethanol and water after dry your substrate. You can check in the literature how to clean your copper surface. You may try as well with functionalization the surface with phenyldiamine by electrografting method (check acs journal you can find that paper) and after that incubate your modified electride in GO solution (acidic solution pH 1 or 2) for few hours. Finally do you electrodeposition in 0.1 or 0.5M sodium chloride. Do your characteruzation RMAN, SEM and XPS. Hope it can help you
