I am trying to cut electospun nanofiber networks.
I made nanofiber networks with PEO solution by using near-field electrospinning on Si-wafer.
After depositing fibers on Si-wafer, now I am trying to cut nanofibers into rectangular shape. (Fiber diameter is about 350 nm and trying to cut 8 mm square shape)
Laser cutting will work but it takes so long time and expensive to cut up to 8 mm.
It will be really thankful if anyone can give me any advice.

I've made lots of electrospun fiber mats and I always used a razor for cutting them and also punching them into circular shapes
Hello. I have produced a lot of electrospun fiber meshes and I usually use a scalpel and blade as the cut is sharper than a razor or scissors one. You can also punch it. For SEM analysis, I always cut using scalpel and blade on liquid nitrogen (handle carefully!).
