Hello I am using coconut water and coconut milk for my studies. For this I am using various quantities in ml value. But how to represent that in mg value.
Converting from milliliters (ml) to milligrams (mg) involves considering the density of the substance you're measuring. As coconut water and coconut milk have different densities, the conversion will be different for each.
For water-based liquids like coconut water, you can approximate that 1 ml of water weighs about 1 gram (since the density of water is close to 1 g/ml). So, 1 ml of coconut water would be roughly 1000 mg.
Dear its simple, first take exact volume in graduated pipette, then after keep beaker in electronic balance (4 digit for more accuracy). tare the weight then after pore pipette volume into beaker and measure the mg on weight scale.
ml is used for volume, while mg is used for weight, but when one of them is used with another unit, for example when measuring the concentration of a material, the density must be taken in accounts.
