Increase the electrode surface area, make your reactor head-space as small as possible and then you can use GC with TCD and Ar as a carrier gas.

Photoelectrochemical? With a sacrificial reagent? What is your system?  Semiconductors are not  the catalysts. They are mostly used for charge separation.
