The reliability of people questionnaire (stakeholders) is measured by cronbach's alpha ... how can i measure the reliability of questionnaire done for experts to evaluate a software?
Nouran, if you have a scale that comprises multiple items, or indicators, of a variable then Cronbach's alpha is a sensible approach to estimate reliability. There have been some discussions about what what exactly Cronbach's alpha actually represents and some alternative models of reliability proposed, but Cronbach's alpha is still the standard measure of reliability and should be reported.
I hate to sound like a school teacher, but I suggest that always ensure that you refer to reliability as a property of the scores you derive from a scale rather than a scale itself. A scale does not have fixed reliability; give any scale that has been shown to produce reliable scores to a group and 4 year olds and then calculate reliability and you'll see that reliability is sample dependent.
Best wishes, Mark
