Within my Arabic issued book entitled "التعلم الإلكتروني المعاصر: أبعاد تصميم وتطوير برمجياته الإلكترونية Modern E-Learning: Dimensions of Its Electronic Design and Development" published by الدار المصرية اللبنانية in 2011, chapter 10 pp. 289-313 under heading "Quality Assurance and Accreditation of E-learning Programs" you could find answer to your question.
Dear Nouran, having now completed your survey I am interested to know some of the other factors that you may be considering in addition to those areas that you raised in the survey. In particular I am wondering whether you have given enough emphasis to issues of technology, wealth and accessibility. I know that at many universities the issue of access is not simply a factor of the LMS, but also relate to how much content is outward facing, what kind of technology is used to gain access to the LMS ( eg Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Mobile), and language access to the LMS (is all content in English or other languages.) Good luck with the research, regards David
LMS is an information system that supports management of teaching and learning activities in higher educational institutes. Development of information systems is not easy as it needs to visualize the complete information system with proper functionality. System quality can be defined as an assessment of an information system from technical and design perspectives. Also system quality of LMS is defined as the usability, accessibility, reliability, and stability of the system. It shows that usability factor is an important dimension that affects the system quality which is the main factor that increases or decreases the LMS efficiency. Other research concerns with other dimensions of system quality of LMS such as usability, availability, reliability, completeness, system flexibility, response time and security.
