I tried to run in PLAXIS 3d, while generating amplification curve, it shows not enough data for nodes. I am not understanding what data it requires to generate amplification curve. I provided Loma Prieta acceleration data for dynamic analysis.
Amplification is ratio of surface to input ground response. You need first to make sure that your wave propagation in FEM is correct? You have to make sure the size of element (mesh), time step for the wave propagation and free-field lateral boundaries. you need to pre-select of nodes along the height of model and the predict the acceleration after the analysis and compare the maximum acceleration response in each node and compare the with the maximum acceleration of input motion.
