I'm not sure if I'm totally right but here it goes:
1 ha = 10 000 000 000 cm3
1 ton = 1 000 000 g
So it means that
1 t/ha = 0.0001 g/cm3
or
1 g/cm3 = 10 000 t/ha

Carbon pool in mineral soil (Mg/ha):
(C in mineral soil) = (bulk density in g/cc) x (horizon depth in cm ) x (percent carbon)
Carbon Pool in Organic Soil (Mg/ha):
(C in organic soil) = {[(soil weight, oven dry) - (root weight) - (twig weight) - (rock weight)] / (area sampled)} x (percent carbon)

Anoop Kumar, can the same approach be channeled towards calculating the amount of total nitrogen when I have already determined the %N? because I am looking both at N and SOC.
Or how do I go about the calculation of total Nitrogen available in my soil samples?

C in t/ha = 10000 m2 in one hectare x horizon depth in meter x bulk density in g/cm3 x carbon percent
There are various ways of calculation, but follow Anoop Kumar Srivastava suggestion since it is the simplest one.
Calculating soil organic carbon storage in t/ha
For instance, where 15 cm soil sample depth SOC 1.5%, soil bulk density of 1.6 g/cm3: # 10,000 m2 in one hectare # x 0.15m soil depth (15 cm) # x 1.6 gr/cm3 bulk density # x SOC 1.5 % (1.5/100) = 36.0 t C/ha.
