I have an FFT plot for a 8-bit SAR ADC which is added as an attachment with this post.
I need to calculate the above mentioned parameters.
My query is how to plug in the required values in the standard formula from this FFT plot.
Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR)
Effective number of Bits (ENOB)
Signal-to-Noise Ratio Distortion Ratio (SINAD)
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)
Spurious free dynamic range (SFDR)
I think you have made wrong plot. It shows single ADC transient, but to get the ratios you listed above you need to save steady-state output values as function of input voltage waveform, convert them on PC back to analog by ideal DAC and than run FFT on that reconstructed analog waveform.
alternative wording: if you need to measure SNR, you need to have example (input) signal and noisy signal of same shape. (sinusoidal vs sinusoidal typically)
