I have prepared mixed metal oxide sample by co-doping cerium with Sm and Mg through co-precipitation route using Na2CO3 as precipitating agent. I annealed my sample at low temperature i.e. 600 C. My Raman data is indicating the presence of nitrates and MgCO3 as some of the Mg might have reacted with the carbonate and formed MgCO3 instead of doping into cerium. I want to calculate the amount of MgCO3 formed in my sample. I will appreciate if someone can refer me any literature detailing this or guide me how to tackle this.

Thanks
