I conducted an experiment in which participants performed 4 sets of 12 melodies. I tracked eye movements and Midi data and calculated the number of fixations and the accuracy of pitch and accuracy of note onset from these data, respectively. And I collected self-report data on musical expertise that I used to calculate an expertise score. As participants (level 2) performed multiple melodies (level 1), I have a nested data structure. Here is some code to simulate an analogous data set:

Is it the scholarly articles, the webpages or the video? I skimmed through all of them, but could not find something that directly addresses my question.
I don't know enough about lavaan, your research questions etc to be of real help. I will comment that if this was your first try. I would try a simpler toy problem to check out your code peice by peice. Further I didn't see the 3- way interactions I expected. Probably because I am not familiar enough with the code. However you might also wish to google the material I will add in a few minutes..
