I want to solve a elastic wave problem in Comsol using PDE module since my model have a different consititutive relation which is not included in the present modules.
I have difficulty when using the " Coefficient type partial differential equations" because I can't find "Frequency Domain" in research module. "Transient" "Eigenvalue" and "Steady" are available.
How can I calculate a frequancy domain problem with PDE in Comsol?
By the way, if "PML" can be realized in PDE?
I would be really appreciated it if you can help me find out.

Just choose Empty Study, then go to the Study node created below Mesh, then right-click, choose Study Steps -> Frequency Domain -> Frequency Domain. For PMLs you need to study a bit. Why are you not using the in-built modules? You can manipulate the equations, and PMLs are probably implemented already. @ Hao Qiu

Thank you for your suggestions. I would definitely use the in-built modules if they can fix my problems.
You say "You can manipulate the equations". Do you mean deriving the weak form of my equations then modifying the in-built modules under the "Equation View" mode?
At first, I found the Coefficient-Type-PDE may be more convenient than modifying in-built equations. Because all coefficiencies I need have been set as variables and I just need to fill in the blanks of PDE. However, considering PML, I will try it.

Yes the equation view. Watch out for any scaling factors. I would think this is easier than implementation of pmls
