I have readed the two PDF's and I deduce that you need a source code for tuning the PID controller on a planet using LMI alogarithm, I personally don't know why would you need such code if you already have a PID tuner app in the MATLAB V2014a?

However if you still need to work on the tuner code by yourself , then you can refere to the attached links of KJ Åström, T Hägglund wonderful work.
