if we have a little multi-collinearity or interaction between variables how can we formulate, is it X1*X2 or X1+X2 using regression analysis?
and what the situation we have to multiplying variables?.

This is not the case - the variables involved in the interaction may be categorical, continuous or a mixture of the two
