Hello, I am currently doing a study on the population genetics of the stingless bees Scaptotrigona mexicana, with microsatellites. Stingless bees are haplodiploid organisms.

As a newbie, my question is: How can diversity and genetic differentiation be estimated in organisms with different ploidy?

I have populations with only diploid females and populations with only haploid males. Is it possible to estimate genetic diversity and differentiation when ploidy between populations is different?
