I want to model a FGM plate in the Abaqus program. Can I define modulus of elasticity with a function instead of multiple layers, or can we do it in a different program?
I think there are two approaches to modelling an FG material in Abaqus software. First, you can create a composite layout with multiple layers (multi-ply). Otherwise, you can use the USDFLD subroutine to define FGM properties in ABAQUS/Standard as functions of field variables.
It should be mentioned that the first approach, in addition to being simpler, can provide acceptable results if modelled with a sufficient number of layers.

İsmail Esen Hocam, ilginiz için çok teşekkür ederiz. Makalelerinizi takip ediyoruz. Çalışmanın ihtiyaç olan aşamalarında yardımınızı almak isteriz. Desteğiniz için teşekkür ederiz.
to define the elastic modulus of FGM, you have to work with the coupling of two MatLab and Abaqus codes because you cannot define FGM directly in ABAQUS.
You can do it using USDFLD coding in fortran. It will be just like a single line code for the simple cases. For more details you can refer my article titled "Plates with Functionally Graded Materials under Thermo-Mechanical Loading: A Study" doi:10.1504/IJCAET.2022.10039972
