Stain may be acidic or basic in nature
Use a solution of K2Cr2O7 and H2SO4 in water. It will remove stain easily.
I have tried this; but there was no complete removal of the stains.
From memory use chromic acid or try acetic acid solutions
The drug has a free phosphate group; mobile phase 0.1% formic acid and methanol in HPLC. Is it possible that methanol can form an ester with the free phosphate group of the drug (analyte)?
