How can a teacher develop and bring out the full potential in a gifted and talented student? What are the method initiatives to be adopted in carry out this task without the students been stress up and fighting back during the developmental process of the training?
All suggestions are marvelous, a correlation of all of them shall results in a perfect solution. But can all teachers follow such procedures ?
I suggest a general solution based on tests and exams. Wherein, questions shall be carefully set, and answers of students shall very carefully revised, hence, gifted students may be distinguished in their talents upon their answers.
Have an inventory of the gifted child or have a need assessment. From the results you can devise a strategy on what teach and on hiw to teach. Provide what is needed. You need to prkvide them challenging task or even the most difficult task for them to think. Remember cognitive domain. Always let them do task that would need their creative thinking skills.

Answer of this question is not as 2+2=4; because it is the human being whom we want to teach and train and nurture, and many factors play role in development of cognitive, psycho-motor and affective domain. For me ,believe in your gifted student and tell them that they have the potential that only a few possess and make them think in ethical, rationale and logical way; encourage them to question, and encourage them to find the answers of these questions through teachers, books, internet, parents, elders, and anything that make these questions answered, if not fully, only partially answers are met,then encourage them, not to stop searching for those answers. Furthermore, encourage them to observe; observation opens the door for many inquiries and Analytic philosophy and logic really can help them to find the real meanings behind the obvious scenarios and truths for example, true meanings behind advertisements, do they mean what Brand holders are saying? and do they really care for people in a manner that their slogans pretend?Make them learn through their surroundings, their available resources; many times there is less need of costly resources to make students think, it is only awakening of questioning and logical, rationale thinking by the teacher, and lastly, teacher is a role model for them, act what you say, and act in ethical way and in just way in front of them, so that they could act in the same way in their lives.

A teacher can develop and bring out the full potential in a gifted and talented student jusy by giving an innovative task to get completed by that student in a particular time period and by evaluating it carefully. Thus by giving good task and timely evaluation can help in bringing out the best from a good student.
Aside the needs assessment of the student that must be carried out as well as assigning challenging tasks and projects to develop the full potentials in a gifted student, a teacher should:
1. Motivate the student to explore beyond the sky
(I was always encouraged via words by my instructors and my mentor. They always tapped my shoulder and constantly reminded me how special I was and the need to utilize the talents given me by God (Allah) to make a difference in this life. I knew I had to work extra harder all the time)
2. Give extra coaching, guidance and direction to the student for him or her to discover their true self, capabilities and talents
(I was given extra reading assignments and made to prepare powerpoints for particular topics by some of my instructors. I was always directed to search engines to dig for answers to perplexing questions I posed in class)
3. Instructors must search for upcoming competitions regarding the talent of students and hook them up
(I was always informed of essay competitions globally by my English language instructor. I partook, learnt new things and won global awards in literature)

Very easy, during the course, PUSH this student to build the course with you. Example: ask him to explain X to his colleagues. What is your opinion on X? PUSH him to the max and you'll see the potential of this student.
