For most of us, peer review publications tend to legitimize and popularize your research. Peer review publications also affect many of our opportunities for advancement, grants, promotions, etc. But, how accurate are they? Are they actually fair or trapped in politics, personal issues, competition and more politics? In fact, many intimate that the peer review process enables others to appropriate your ideas and conclusions - a form of theft or plagiarism; or, to enable them to diminish your work and bury it under the carpet.
