Dear Colleague(s)

I am well versed with real time qPCR but have never actually worked with human heart tissue to determine relative expression of a GOI, viz cytochrome p450 2J2 variant.

In particular, I want to look at expression of 2J2 in total RNA derived from human heart tissue and intend to utilise Gapdh and B2 microglobulin as housekeepers; Both of which appear to have high expression in human heart.

As you know 3 housekeepers is considered a pre requisite and ideally > 3 should be evaluated by Norm finder to select the 3 with best and most consistent expression.

Can anyone therefore suggest at least another 2 house keepers in the context of total RNA from human heart and perhaps some tips/instructions on candidate selection using norm finder (which I only know about in principle)?

I should add I intend to assay by sybr green

Much obliged!
