I'm doing some experiments with algae and plants and, often, I found biostimulation after low concentrations of treatment (e.g. surfactants) followed by low to heavy toxicity at higher doses.
I think that some trends can be explain by hormesis.
I'm looking for a software able to analyze the data as y(effects)=f(x, concentrations) and confirm we found hormesis or not.
Our software (PRISM) normalize data so effects higher than control (>100) are considered as 100.
Can someone help me?
I can suggest to use R with 'drc' package (functions CRS.x or braincousens).
Denis please can you provide me some details because i have red the app but I didn't found how to use it with my data that are express as %EFFECT = f(concentrations) normalized on the control values (but i have also the raw data without normalization).

There is one example of using 'drc'. More information about facilities in analysis and plotting you can find in manual and by typing commands ?plot and ?par in R prompt.
Also you can give your data set for more suitable example.

Hi Denis thanks for your information, U provided the drc.example in R for hormesis data, where I can get
MAX(m1) command, so its give us Maximum Response (M), and Dose, Is it one single dose or and limited dose for stimulation (LDS) ???
How can we get LDS and ED110 value please??
