In principle, yes. However, the transmission of shear stresses between the beam and the slab is not guaranteed unless you take especial measures; if you do not, the steel beam will not perform the same function.
I'm very grateful to you Joaquin Marti. if shear connectors to be used in both sides of the web,is it efficient??do you think that used rolled sections yield higher capacity?
To the best of my knowledge, the shear connectors can not provide moment resistance in the direction normal to the steel beam unless you create some holes in the web for continuity of the reinforcement.
Dr. Musa, studs with suitable length may provide some interaction with reinforcement in both sides of the steel section.or as you suggested "by introducing holes within the web" and passing some steel bars through.studs may play the role of such bars
