Hi friends,

I am trying to introduce a thin layer of material onto my gold nanoparticles so as to control/increase the distance between the gold nanoparticle surface to the biomolecule immobilized on this spacing layer. I tried PEI (Mw 25K), but found several non-specific adsorption of biomolecules. Can anyone kindly suggest some compounds/polymers/ that serves this purpose? Thank you so much!
