mixed graphite with silver chloride solution and got a film like substance. Can anyone explain what it maybe?.Actually i processes it for making reference electrodes
I am not sure how did you manage to obtain AgCl solution (cause it is insoluble in water), but anyway - chloride ions can intercalate graphene planes in graphite, so what you obtained may be a partially exfoliated graphite. Intercalation and then oxidation of intercalated graphite is one of the chemical methods of obtaining few-layered graphene.
