Hello everyone.I'm using STATA and journal of Battese and Coelli (1995) to estimate the efficiency of fiscal decentralization (two stage procedural).
in the journal there is some test of hypotheses for parameters of the inefficiency frontier model. What command that I should run in STATA to have those hypotheses test and to get the inefficiency score?
just now, i run
sfpanel lny lnx1 lnx2, model(bc95) emean(m k l)

You can easily do SFA in Stata and in several ways. I recommend the following article written by Beloti et al. 2013 published in Stata Journal. It has everything you need for panel data. Download it from https://ideas.repec.org/c/boc/bocode/s457636.html. Hope this helps!

For SFA panel, I suggest to use STATA is easier than others.
To test the hypothesis inefficiency you may check Likelihood Ratio (LR test).
To conduct the analysis, use SFPANEL command in STATA 13 developed by Atella et al. (2012). The command allows running of various time–varying and time-invariant version of SFA model developed in SFA literature.
Perhaps late, but the book by ' Kumbhakar et al (2015). Practitioner's Guide to Stochastic Frontier Analysis Using Stata' is a good ref
