The answer to your question is not within the framework of protein.
The carbonyl group in protein mainly exists as peptide bond, i.e. -(C=O)NH-, and thus it will show as amide I band at ~1644 cm-1, generally the first strong band in IR spectrum.
The flow of nonlinear systems are mostly explored by its equilibrium points. But, if a dynamical system has no equilibrium point. How to analyze its flow?
