I have a sample of bioash (produced from biosolids by heating in an oven at 550 deg centigrade - air environment). I have carried out x-ray fluoresence as well to identify the elements. I am not 100% sure in the identification of two peaks lying between 28.6 and 29.7 degree 2theta. I have attached both the xrf data and the xrd file. Would highly appreciate your help in the identification of these peaks.

This may be some whitlockite phase, Ca9MgK(PO4)7 or similar. It is a very complex group with strong isomorphism. Further there is included quartz, anhydrite, muscovite, talc, K-feldspar, calcite and hematite. Is talc real (from geology)? Very approximately, and semi-quantitatively, in Topas, it gives about 50% whitlockite and 20% quartz, other is between 1-5(8)%.

Based on your question, naturally, it depends on the genesis of your sample.
However, two SiO2 variations, I didn't check the reference you can see at the right side of the figures, explain the two peaks on the range of 28.6 - 29.7, as mentioned. As natural materials, crystallinity, distortion induced by defects, isomorphic substitution may respond to some slight dislocation from the observed XRD peak position.
At the figures, you have at the right side the complete reference of the phase description.
