We're working on vulnerability studies of electric power systems and we found in some papers that the MATCASC software can be used in those studies. But we can't find where to download it.
MATCASC is a MATLAB based tool, it seems to be a user defined software. You may contact directly to the person of the developer of MATCASC which are mentioned in the article linked above.
Thanks for your answer Shivani. The last week i send a message to the Dr. Yakup Koç asking for the MATCASC tool, but he don't answer me, i suppose that he don't receive my message. But i'll send a request to the other authors.
Hi Ahmad, i already have the MATCASC tool, thanks to the Dr. Yakup Koç, if you have an institutional e-mail i can send it to you. Only remember to reference the Dr. Yakup Koç work when you use it.
Hi again Lu Xiao, sorry if I did not respond before. The MATCASC tool is a library that you need to add to your MATLAB folder program and set the path to it. Please check the notes added to the mail by the Dr. Yakup Koç. I hope that the tool be useful for you. Regards.
And Naziad: I already send you the tool with the same notes. Check your e-mail. Regards
I've recently been reading about the MATCASC add-in. It sounds very beneficial to some of the work I'm looking into. Could someone send me the package:

Hi I am completing my final year of studies and believe that the MATCASC tool will be helpful in my analysis on cascading failures and line vulnerability. I would be very grateful if you would be able to send it through to my student email.
Guys there's a problem with MATCASC. When you outage a line, the branch 'to' and 'from' number changes in the results. Can we as a community suggest improvements and help fix this error for greater good?
