Anyway, this is probably far too late to be of any use, but if you are still working on this there is a huge literature to plug into. Bookchin's work on gender and world order can be found in most of his publications, and resonates with utopian socialist work of the early nineteenth century on the role of patriarchy in sustaining inequality. He argues this has Mesopotamic roots, and is linked to the establishment of the state form at that time. This argument has been picked up by Abdullah Oculan and the YPG in Syria/Rojava.
