Hi, I'm currently developing my first Lateral Flow Immunoassay (LFIA). In my team we have a group specialized in manufacturing of glutathione-stabilized gold nanoparticles, and we are curious if there are any publications or tries of developing LFIA with them as a detection agent. (haven't seen any publications by far). We are also curious, if it is possible to use NPs around 2-3 nm in diameter (maybe plasmonic properties are to small for detection puropouse) if the size isn't a problem we could stabilize them well with glutathione and conjugate to antibodies (due to carboxylic groups on surface).
