I'm starting to preform conditioned place preference (CPP) experiment on mice expressing inhibitory DREADDs in a specific set of neurons. I want to inject IP CNO during one of the stages of the CPP, but not sure how to dissolve it and store it. Have anyone had any experience dissolving in DMSO for longer storage, and then dilute with saline on injection day?

Can DMSO effect behavior during CPP? Any answer about your experience with injecting CNO as ligands for DREADD will be helpful.
