Hey everyone,

I am working with a pancreatic cancer cell line which forms tumors in the pancreas in the orthotopic mice model and the same cells form zero colonies in the soft agar assay.

I was always under the impression that cells which form tumors in mice, have colonies in the soft agar assay.

Any explanations/suggestions are much appreciated.
