Well, there are a few power plants over Iran that use heavy oil (containing up to 3% Sulfur) as fuel. I am exploring possibilities of removing sulfur from man-made underground storage tanks (mainly concrete ones) by biological treatment. The temperature in the tanks is about 45 degree (centigrade). I would like to know about any large scale practical work that might have been carried out worldwide.
