Hi,

I am trying to use the NRD from HCUP and trying to calculate readmissions in SPSS.

So, although I can calculate the cases for a particulat diagnosis Say 'X', and I also have way to calculate the readmissions if it features diagnosis 'X', but I kinda miss out on those encounters with same patient ID but who didn't have 'X' as diagnosis code.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? If yes, what did you do to account for those missing readmissions?
