Has anyone used Amicon-15 devices as an alt. to ethanol precip in DNA extractions?

I've used the smaller Amicon Ultra-2, which can be spun upside down for sample recovery, which works fine. However it usually takes a few hours for my DNA to dissolve, so I'm concerned that I won't be able to recover it from the Amicon-15 after spinning out the chloroform:IAA.
