You can just spot purified LPS on a membrane, let it dry for 15-20 min, wash the membrane, block it, then probe it with anti-LPS antibodies. We use this method routinely for detecting particle-conjugated LPS. However, we are working with already purified "commercial-grade" LPS. If you worry about other impurities in your purified LPS, this method is not the best.
