I recieved a very similar email from Leopold Chu about a week ago and ignored it. Today he followed up. The domain is educonnectsg.org which doesn’t seem to exist. I call spam. Curious though, has anyone actually scheduled a meeting with the sender?
I did get the email last week. I honestly doubt it is a real or honest proposal. In my case, there is no reason anyone in Asia could be reaching out like this, I'm certainly not prestigious enough for this kind of thing.

I had the same email. I asked some information and failed. I believe that it is a scam
I received it and even had an online zoom meeting with Seraphina Lin. the meeting was nice and cordial and when I asked about her organisation, she said they are not a university but just a group. In the meeting we even discussed money issues and what they are willing to offer in exchange that I do online lectures which they say they will advertise to Asian students and faculty.
