I have an N of 11 across 10 repeated measures, and am looking for medium to large effects. My interest is in the multiple comparisons. The topic is students within virtual worlds (10 of them), and I have an aggregate score representing their behavior. The research question is looking for differences in behavior between the virtual worlds. Originally I was going to do a repeated measures ANOVA, but 5 out of the 11 have one missing time point, so linear mixed model was suggested so I don't lose so much data.
I use R primarily and was suggested to use lme(), but I would like to find a good example of where this was run so I can walk myself through the procedure. Any help or advice is welcome! I also have SPSS, but all of my other work with this data is done in R, so it is preferred.
Has anyone performed linear mixed model with repeated measures, or know of a good article or dissertation with this method used?
