We want to use this enzyme for our studies but Novozymes has not indicated the activities of this enzyme preparation. So if anybody has any idea about the cellulase enzyme activity (FPU) and hydrolysis potential of this enzyme (in absolute terms), then please share.

I have determine the activity of CTec3 as well as CTec2. The activity of freshly supplied CTec3 is more than double of freshly supplied CTec2. The activity of enzymes decreases with time and the actual value of activity might be different from persons to person.
It has to be self determined as the activity declines with the aging of these enzyme preparations. Every time you use it there will be a change in the activity.
I agree with everything that was said. Jitendra kumar saini just determine the activity and you can compare with activity reported by other researchers for the same enzyme while taking into consideration that the differences that you might see are as a results of those factors mentioned herein by others. Perhaps for interest sake, what do you use this enzyme in your study for?
I think he just asked for a figure, then he would compare his result
Also I use Ctect II but never tested FPU as I was recommended to use g/g biomass instead of FPU which is litle bit old concept
