I understand this can be done rather easily with an appropriate linker molecule (NH2-PEG-SH); which should bind to the COOH group on the Fc region of the IgG antibody and later form a Thiol bond to the gold surface with the idle SH group. Still, it sounds a bit trickier.

Could anybody recommend a protocol for this approach, or suggest a scientist with published protocols on this issues?

I´m having a hard time finding protocols to inmobilize IgG antibodies to a gold surface. The other approach is an aptamer/primer based probe (Plaxco, Rowe, et. al, 2011).

Kindly share your experience and oponions on this matter.
