I plan to do some Lentirivus Concentration. My virus will be used on cell line and HUVEC, so should not be very difficult. My goal is to get rid of the virus packing media and concentrate the virus to some extent. Does any one have idea which way of concentration, Lenti-X concentrator or ultracentrifugation, is more efficient for me in terms of money, time and technology?
We usually perform retrovirus concentration by RetroX Concentration and find it very efficient in terms of time saving (not money of course). Some colleagues of mine use Lenti-X concentrator with analogous results.

I'd like to know if you had ever considered capturing and concentrating viral particles with magnetic beads ?
we have developed such a method based on electrostatics interactions (it's not a targetted capture) that work with any virus type: magnetic nanoparticles capture virus, and they are concentrated with a magnetic field. Then you can remove medium and add a very small volume to concentrate the viral particles.
The point is that once bound, the virus can be eluted or kept onto the magnetic beads. The latter one can be used to enhance the infection/transduction (it is what is called the Magnetofection).
